Lake Michigan Sunset (original sold; ask me about something similar)

18x12x.5” Mica and Ink on archival board.  As the sun sinks below the horizon, the sky is painted with a blend of warm and cool hues. The remaining rain clouds catch the fading light, creating a dramatic display of colors ranging from soft pastels to vibrant oranges and pinks. The surface of the lake eventually becomes a mirror, reflecting the stunning kaleidoscope above. Calmness will surely follow, making it a truly magical experience. But for now the water still sprays and churns, sending the sun on its way.  The play of light and water creates a sense of awe, leaving a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to witness it.
